Classification of straighteners

1) Straighteners can be divided into ceramic heating elements, PTC heating elements, and MCH heating elements according to their different heating elements. The advantages of ceramic heating elements are environmental friendliness and fast heating speed. Generally, from 30 seconds to 45 seconds, the surface temperature of the sandwich panel can reach 200 degrees. However, due to the fact that ceramic heating elements are sintered at high temperatures above 1000 degrees, their temperature will quickly exceed 300 degrees when the circuit loses control, which will burn out the plastic material used to fix the heating plate, causing it to fall off, potentially touching the user and scalding the skin.
PTC is the abbreviation for Positive Temperature Coefficient, which translates to positive temperature coefficient, abbreviated as PTC thermistor. PTC is also sintered at high temperatures, but its maximum surface temperature can be controlled during sintering. According to the manufacturer’s requirements, the surface can be sintered to below 280 degrees, or any temperature desired by the manufacturer, usually sintering to 230 to 280 degrees. But its disadvantage is that the speed of heating up to 200 degrees is relatively slow, usually around a minute and a half or 2 minutes. Additionally, during use, it is not possible to maintain high temperatures continuously like ceramic heating elements. The effect of straightening hair is slightly worse.
2) According to the material of the heating plate, hair straighteners can be divided into: pure ceramic heating plate, aluminum plate with ceramic glaze sprayed on the surface, and microcrystalline glass plate. The advantages of ceramic heating plates are environmental protection, good insulation performance, and good safety. However, the disadvantages are long processing cycles, multiple processing steps, and the edges are difficult to handle very smoothly, which may cause slight pulling of the hair during the straightening process.
The advantage of aluminum plate spray ceramic glaze is that it is easy to produce, and due to mechanical molding, the edges are very smooth and will not pull hair. Due to the sprayed ceramic glaze on the surface, the hair pulling effect is also very good. The disadvantage is that it is made of metal and does not have insulation. Therefore, insulation treatment should be carried out on the internal heating element to avoid potential safety hazards caused by electric leakage.
The application of microcrystalline glass panels is relatively limited, mainly because their surface smoothness is not as good as ceramic glaze, and it is not easy to form and fix. Therefore, the product structure needs to be redesigned.
3) Straighteners are generally divided into two types based on their structure: V-shaped and X-shaped. In the early days, X-shaped hair straighteners were more popular, but recently, V-shaped hair straighteners have become more popular. Because V-shaped hair straighteners not only straighten hair, but also have a streamlined appearance and can be used to curl hair, more and more hairdressers are using straighteners to curl their hair.
4) According to different power sources, hair straighteners are divided into wired straighteners and wireless charging straighteners. Wired straighteners are straighteners that work by connecting to the mains power supply. Wireless charging straighteners charge rechargeable batteries through a charger, using the battery as the power source. The advantage of wired straighteners is that they can work continuously, but the disadvantage is that if the straightener is designed and produced without proper control, there may be safety hazards. In addition, having a power cord during use may be inconvenient, and it is also inconvenient to carry when going out. The advantage of a wireless straightener is safety, as it is powered by a tributary, and it is also convenient to carry when traveling. But the disadvantage of wireless hair straighteners is that they can only work for 30 minutes to 1 hour after each charge.
5) Straighteners can be divided into wide plates and medium plates according to their size
