In order to effectively dry and shape the hair dryer, achieve correct, reasonable and safe use, and extend the lifespan of the equipment, the following precautions should be taken when blowing:
(1) The hair dryer must be used at the power voltage specified on the nameplate. A hair dryer with a three wire power cord should be correctly grounded.
(2) When using a hair dryer, the inlet and outlet must be unobstructed, otherwise not only will the use effect not be achieved, but it will also cause overheating and damage to the equipment.
(3) When using to blow dry or wet hair, the hair dryer outlet should be kept at a certain distance from the hair (not less than 50mm) to prevent clogging of the outlet and burning of the hair. At the same time, it is important to maintain a certain distance for safety to avoid the water vapor generated during hair drying from affecting the insulation strength and causing leakage.
(4) Before using the hair dryer, try to switch the hair dryer from the “hot” position to the “cold” position as much as possible, in order to cut off the power supply of the electric heating element first. Let the remaining heat of the electric heating element be blown out by cold air to lower the internal temperature of the hair dryer, and then cut off all power. This can slow down the aging of the internal insulation of the hair dryer and extend its service life. When placed on the table at the same time, it is not easy to burn other objects.
(5) Hair dryers should not be used continuously for too long, and should be used intermittently to avoid overheating and damage to the heating element and motor. When the hair dryer is not in use, it should be placed in a dry place and should not be placed outdoors or in damp places. When it is taken out after long-term use, the insulation resistance should be checked first. It can be used normally only when it meets the requirements to ensure personal safety during use. Due to the presence of dust in the air, although many hair dryers are equipped with filter screens at the air inlet to provide protection, they cannot prevent small particles of dust, and not all hair dryers have filter cloth. It is necessary to regularly clean the dust to prevent blockage of the air duct and damage to the components.
(6) Do not throw the hair dryer casually, as the heating element and motor may be damaged by mechanical impact. At the same time, do not disassemble it easily to avoid damaging the components. To ensure the normal use of the hair dryer, lubricating oil should be regularly added to the bearings and other rotating parts of the motor, but the amount of oil should not be too much to avoid flowing into the coil and causing malfunctions.
